HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY PROFILE?

Ten minutes is all it takes to complete your profile and showcase your food production and heritage practices.

I’M NOT VERY TECH-SAVVY: CAN I GET HELP TO BUILD MY PROFILE?

Please, email to: support@trusttm.com. We will send you a short form to fill out. Please, return it to us with  photos requested. Once your profile is complete, we will email you a link and ask you to approve your profile before it goes “live.” If you are interested in having your story video-recorded, please let us know and will work to try and schedule a session with one of our Knowledge Seekers, who are trained to produce short video stories. You are also welcome to create, upload and link your own YouTube video to your profile. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Any and all, small to large, independent cheesemakers, food maker like chefs, artisanal food producers.

WHAT IS THE FEE?

There is no cost to join as a producer or user, now or ever. This open source effort is supported through non-profit and grant funding for the purpose of building food resilience, promoting cultural heritage and strengthening the regional food economy.

WHO WILL SEE MY PROFILE?

Profiles on the CKP are open access and meant to be shared across users and networks to expand direct access between producers, makers and buyers. You can see examples of other profiles here.

IS MY DATA SAFE?

You are not required to enter any personal information beyond your name and the name of your business and the product/s you produce. Additional information, images and videos can be added at the discretion of the Knowledge Keeper.

Your data is not shared with anyone. Anonymized and aggregated user data is collected by the project team to improve the performance of the platform, to report results to grant agencies, and to expand and support services for KK.    

WHO CONTROLS MY PROFILE?

Knowledge Keepers control the submission and final approval of the profile loaded into the platform. Knowledge Keepers may request permission to access and edit their content, as needed to update and refresh it.

HOW WE USE YOUR PROFILE

As the use of the CKP increases, we envision opportunities to expand the value of the platform through the creation of multiple outlets for the KK profiles. One project, already in the pipeline, is a series of e-booklets. When submitting their profiles, KK have the option of “opting in” to participate in this and/or other projects as a featured KK.
